Man critically injured in North Minneapolis shooting, police say Sabrina Salguero Del Cid KSTP (KSTP) A shooting in north Minneapolis left a man critically injured Friday night. According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation reporting multiple gunshots in the 3400 block of Emerson Avenue North at about 8:09 p.m. While officers were responding, a 911 caller reported seeing a shooting victim being placed into a vehicle and driven away. When officers arrived, they found evidence of a shooting and learned the victim had been taken to a nearby hospital. Police said the man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and is in critical condition. At this time, police have not identified the victim. Officers canvassed the area for witnesses while crime scene investigators processed the scene. Police had not made any arrests as of Saturday.
